Kirk Cousins has found a new team and a chance to serve as a bridge quarterback.

The veteran signal-caller is signing with the Las Vegas Raiders, his agent Mike McCartney revealed on Thursday, April 2, 2026.

Cousins will get $20 million fully guaranteed in the 2026 season, per contract details.

For the unversed, it's the 11th time that Cousins’ contract has fully been guaranteed.

The Las Vegas Raiders inked the deal with Kirk Cousins on Thursday, April 2, just two days after the newly inducted coach hinted that he wanted to add another veteran quarterback to the roster.

As per the contract details, it included a club option for two years at $80 million and could accumulate over $172 million for the next five years.

Cousins, 37, is expected to join the roster later this April, and the Raiders are buzzing with the speculation of selecting former Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza with the first overall pick in the NFL draft.

Thursday’s deal was struck less than a month after Cousins was released by the Atlanta Falcons.

The Falcons, who released the quarterback two years after signing him to a four-year, $180 million contract.
