The royal family will be gathering soon to commemorate an important holiday as buzz about Prince Harry’s wish to receive an invitation for Sandringham continues.
Meanwhile, the monarch started his first major project with David Beckham after granting him the much-awaited knighthood last year.
Charles, who serves as the founding president of the King’s Foundation, held a meeting with the former England football captain and joined gardeners Alan Titchmarsh and Frances Tophill to complete the plans for a garden project.
It is being prepared for this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show, which is the world’s mist flower show as it aims to educate and encourage horticultural.
The final designs for a special installation, King’s Foundation Curious Garden, were approved during the meeting held at Highgrove, Gloucestershire.
Sir David, who holds an ambassadorial position for the King’s Foundation said that he was “excited for people to see it”. He noted that it was “fun” to be involved and indicated that his new white Sir David Rose would also make an appearance.
He told the King how his 14-year-old daughter was behind the special flower that she gave him as a gift for his 50th birthday.
The update comes just days after a friend of Prince Harry briefed to The Times that the Duke of Sussex would love to see his father and is hoping to received an invitation for Sandringham this year.
The friend insisted that he would absolutely come if the King sent him an invite but also restored his security for the visit. He hoped to bring his wife Meghan Markle, and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet as well.
Although, King Charles’s friend said that if Harry really wanted to see his father, he would do so “privately”. This has sparked buzz over the fact whether the reconciliation with continue or if it has come to an impasse.
