Bollywood actors Ajay Devgn and Kajol opened up about their marriage, work and fallout with filmmaker Karan Johar during Sunday’s episode of 'Koffee with Karan' season 6.

The latest episode of the show started with a discussion on the public fight between the filmmaker and host of the show, Karan Johar, with Kajol and Ajay a couple of years back. Karan's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil was set for a box office clash with Ajay's Shivaay which led to a fight between them and  Kajol had sided with her husband. Karan said that though he wrote in his autobiography that he would never be friends with Kajol again, it turned out to not to be true. Karan also apologised and said he was wrong and Kajol agreed.

The host also brought up how Ajay rarely attends events and award functions, to which the actor said he has social anxiety. However, Kajol said that he was just lazy but Ajay disagreed and said he likes to do his work and come back home to his family.

Karan and Ajay then discussed Kajol’s obsession with taking selfies, her habit of never buying anything expensive and how she is always happier with children or the elderly — people either younger than 10 years or older than 60 years. Ajay also revealed that they fight a lot over selfies and that Kajol is obsessed with Instagram filters. He revealed that their fifteen-year-old daughter, Nysa, and Kajol sometimes spend as many as three hours over editing.

Taking about how they have made their marriage work for 20 years, Kajol said that though they may appear to be two very different people, their priorities are the same and they put family first.

Regarding being opposites, Ajay said, “We know how much she speaks. Imagine me speaking that much. What is going to happen?” When asked if the trick is to listen when she speaks, the actor added, “She speaks and I don’t listen.”

On why she does not act in too many films, Kajol said that she expects the script of any film she does to be like a good book — fast-paced and exciting. If it doesn’t excite her, getting associated with it is not worth her time or effort, she explained.

Further, turns out Ajay forgets his wedding date, teases his wife over her age and admits to not listening to her half the time. When Karan asked him about the one lie that all actors tell, he responded, “I love my wife”. To this, Kajol jokingly threatened him but Ajay said he was talking about the other men.
