'Euphoria' season 3 delay: Insider exposes shocking details

Euphoria season 3 is facing a string of ordeals following creator Sam Levinson and HBO’s differences.

An insider came forward to Daily Mail and said that the teen show is facing slow progress because of the cast members’ rising fame, tragic deaths of Angus Cloud and Kevin Turen, and last year's SAG-AFTRA strike.

The tip comes after the network confirmed recently that the latest installment will face more delay, blaming the busy schedules of actors like Sydney Sweeney, Zendaya and Jacob Elordi.

However, insiders have now claimed the real reason for the delay is Sam's frustration at HBO's request that he completes the scripts before going ahead with the production.

“A handful of things have stunted the third season and it's looking more and more likely that it will never happen. Even though HBO has announced a delay as opposed to a cancellation, so many things would have to fall into place that may never be for the show to return,” the source stated.

They added, “But what is to blame? A handful of things. The cast and crew have been waiting through strikes, new scripts, the tragic death of Angus Cloud, and how that will change the story,”

The tipster further blamed HBO for dragging the process unreasonably.

“Sam's frustrations have made him move on to other projects, and not being able to finish the show on his terms has been upsetting,” they claimed.
