Zoe Saldana gets candid about shooting 'Avatar 3'

Zoe Saldana just engaged in a hilarious conversation on her latest appearance at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The Guardians of the Galaxy actress discussed the making of the third installment of Avatar and revealed that the crew had filmed both the second and third parts of the franchise.

“You posted this and everyone went nuts on the internet,” Jimmy Fallon, the host, told Saldana as he showed a picture of her with CGI Motion capturers.

“I’m assuming this is Avatar 3,” he asked as the actress immediately replied, “Yes, we shot two and three, we started shooting in 2017.”

Saldana continued, “Two already came out, and three is still like an ongoing thing. It’s just that the technology requires so much time.”

She further discussed how she was called in January to “have some pick-up shots” and convinced Saldana that the shoot would be “no hassle.”

However, in a funny turn of events, the Avatar star had to pose with her dragon, Ikran, in a squatting position. Having not gone to the gym in a long time, she needed help in readjusting to a normal pose, which Zoe Saldana narrated hilariously.
