T.J. Holmes talks ‘break' from Amy Robach: ‘Everybody needs a break'

Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes are reportedly preparing to spend some time apart.

Speaking on the latest episode of their podcast, T.J. Holmes revealed that he will be separated from his girlfriend soon.

"Everybody needs a break. Sometimes you don't realize you need a break," the show host started the discussion by saying.

Then, he shared that pair "are about to be apart for the first time in a long time" as Amy will soon leave for Germany in order to visit her daughter Ava.

"I'm guessing [be in the] fetal position for several days,” he also added when the former Good Morning America co-host asked him what he would do without her.

Later, he admitted, "I will be worried about you traveling," adding, "I have said this to you plenty of times. I get really frustrated when we are apart in traveling apart.”

T.J. Holmes went on to explain, "We have been through so much together. [Now] I always get an anxiety and a fear that if we are not together then I'm not there with you to protect you or help you. I just don't like being apart from you."

"It is not a matter of missing you. I miss you when you go to the bathroom. I hate when we travel apart for long periods of time," he said in conclusion of the discussion.
