Cameron Mathison pens down heartwarming note for his daughter

Cameron Mathison, the All My Children alum shared an affectionate moment with daughter Leila who is all grown up and ready for her senior prom.

The 54-year-old actor took to Instagram on Sunday, April 28, and shared a carousel of photos of his 17-year-old daughter as she is all set to head off her big night out.

He began the caption with, "Senior Prom," along with father-daughter photos captured in a garden surrounded by lush green trees.

"Leila, I want you to know that you are always on my mind and in my heart," the actor continued. "I’m so grateful for every moment I get to spend with you, and remember no matter where life takes you always know that you are loved beyond measure."

Leila was wearing a black gown with lace detailing and an open back. She completed her look with a black and white floral bracelet.

In the photos, Cameron can be seen warmly hugging Leila while wearing a plain black T-shirt and khaki pants.

"You are such an incredible daughter and I’m so proud of the person you have become," he added. "Love dad (heart emoji)."

He concluded the post with a disclaimer, "The last photo I may have a tear or two (crying emoji)."

Moreover, Cameron's wife Vanessa Mathison also commented on his post praising their daughter, “We are lucky beyond belief (heart emojis),” she wrote.

It is pertinent to mention that, Cameron and Vanessa shared screens on General Hospitals in 2022 and have been married for over two decades.

The former Home & Family cohost and Vanesa share two children, a 21-year-old son, Lucas, and Leila, who was born in July 2006.
