Hannah Waddingham recently talked about her Ted Lasso character, Rebecca Welton.

The acting sensation recently sat down for a confessional with People Magazine and surmised where her character would be at this moment in her life.

For those unversed, at the ending of this show, the protagonist Ted Lasso, played by Jason Sudeikis, said goodbye to AFC Richmond soccer team and his love interest Rebecca to go home and coach his son Henry's soccer team.

When asked about whether Rebecca would have found her new love of life after Ted’s exit, Hannah replied with a smile, "My first gut instinct is that she is single and adjusting the club again and that her shoulders have finally dropped."

However, the show’s finale depicted otherwise as it hinted at a romantic connection between her and an unnamed Dutchman.

Speaking of the finale, the British actress previously told Entertainment Tonight, “I like the fact that it was intimated but not bashed over the head," adding, “I like that it’s letting some sunshine into her life, and a change of pace perhaps, but I like that it wasn’t bashed over the head any more than that.”

“I feel there would be a period of adjustment for her anyway. It is a massive thing that Ted has gone, so, yeah, I like that it was just touched upon rather than rammed down our throats,” she said in conclusion at that time.
