David Schwimmer has opened up about his casting in Friends which made his life scary at that time.

In an interview with The Post, the Madagascar actor candidly talked about advice he would give to his younger self in relation to that.

"Advice I'd give my younger self. ... I would maybe say enjoy it more," he began by saying. "Enjoy the ride a little more."

Recalling when he got fame for portraying the Ross Galler character at the age of 27 in the teen sitcom, continued, "The thing about being a public figure at a young age is, for me, it was quite scary actually at that time of my life."

"All of us were kind of constantly followed by three or four cars at a time. Anywhere we went, you had no privacy anymore."

Schwimmer starred in Friends sitcom alongside Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, and Lisa Kudrow.

Before concluding, the 58-year-old actor said, "And that to me, my response to it, I would just give my advice to my younger self to also just enjoy the whole thing more. Because that was scary at the time to younger actors."
