A$AP Rocky responds to rumours about Anna Wintour approving Met Gala looks

A$AP Rocky has agreed with rumours that Met Gala outfits get approval from the host and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.

In a recent appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, where he was interviewed alongside Wintour, the rapper first recalled his initial reaction to being offered to become one of the co-chairs for the 2025 Met Gala.

"When Anna first reached out, you thought it was a prank," Meyers inquired.

"Absolutely. I tend to get these prank calls and I said, 'Nah, this can't be real,'" the rapper recalled. "But it was a dream come true."

The late-night host then asked Rocky about the rumour that Wintour sees every attendee's outfits before they are worn to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

"When you pick your outfit, do you feel a responsibility to run it by Anna first?" Meyers asked Rocky, who replied, "Well, she told me exactly what to wear."

Meyers pressed on and asked the rapper, "When you heard what she wanted you to wear, did you agree that it was a good look? Were you happy with it?" to which Rocky replied, "She told me to wear mine, so yeah."

Wintour previously denied rumours that she weighs in on everyone's Met Gala looks.
