Prince Harrys spiritual guide reveals what may be driving his behavior

Prince Harry has been praised as a decent man by his former priest in a sermon published recently.

According to GB News, Canon Angela Tilby expressed her views about Harry's behavior and his current situation in an article for Church Times.

GB News reported that the priest was a spiritual guide to the Duke of Sussex as a young man in 2002, during his time at Eton, and was present at his mother Princess Diana’s funeral years earlier.

“I grieve for that ginger-topped teenager I once preached to,” GB News quoted Tilby as writing in her piece.

She added, “I believe that he is a decent man. But, so far, he has found no way to switch off the trauma in his head."

Notably, the priest suggested Harry’s current behavior is due to the “grievous trauma” he suffered after his mother’s death and walking behind her coffin during her funeral.

“He has found no way to switch off the trauma in his head,” Tilby wrote.

Defending the Duke and his wife, Tilby called the “sharp criticism” Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have faced “vulgar and cruel”.

However, the Duke's former spiritual guide was of the view that Harry's current predicament was now largely the result of his own actions.

Writing about Harry's explosive memoir Spare, Tilby suggested it had only “worsened his alienation from his family”.
