Kim Kardashian set to testify in her Paris robbery trial

Kim Kardashian is back in Paris to confront the suspects involved in the 2016 Paris robbery.

“Kim’s a bit nervous, but she always said that she wanted to testify in person," a source told People Magazine.

"This is her choice. She was terrified for her life during the robbery. She wants the people involved convicted.”

The SKIMS founder revealed on Monday that she was traveling abroad along with a photo of the sky view from her private jet and also included an emoji of the French flag.

The trial for the suspects involved began April 28, with ten people expected to appear in court to face charges in connection with the heist, per the New York Times, NBC News, and ABC News.

For those unversed, The Kardashians star was robbed of nearly $9 million worth of jewellery in October 2016.

The armed thieves held her hostage in the bathtub while five other masked men looked for valuables in the room she was staying in at the No Address hotel in Paris.

"They put plastic ties around her wrists, but she managed to squeeze her hands out of the wrist ties by wriggling her hands," a source close to Kardashian told People Magazine at the time.

A second source told the publication that Kardashian "screamed from the balcony" for help once the thieves escaped.

Kardashian previously revealed that the robbers took two diamond Cartier bracelets, a gold and diamond Jacob necklace, Lorraine Schwartz diamond earrings, a gold Rolex, and other items during the heist, according to French newspaper Le Journal du Dimanche. 

A $4 million ring gifted to her by then-husband Kanye West was also among the items stolen. Most of the items were never recovered.
