King Charles, Prince William set to make joint appearance after Prince Harry interview

King Charles and Prince William will make joint appearance at Westminster Abbey on Friday, according to the British media.

A report said that William will be installed as Great Master of the ancient order in a special ceremony in Westminster Abbey.

After holding the role himself for nearly five decades, the monarch  handed it to his son on St George’s Day last year.

The report said that the king is taking part in the service for the first time as sovereign of the order, which is awarded to members of the military or Civil Service for exemplary work and this year celebrates its 300th anniversary.

Wearing their crimson satin robes, the father-son duo will process through the church with officers, knights and the Dame Grand Cross of the order and take their seats in the Quire.

Charles, who continues to undergo treatment for cancer, will appear with William at his side, just days after his youngest son, Prince Harry, sat for a bombshell interview with BBC in which he said his father won't speak to him.

The Duke of Sussex also said that he wants a reconciliation with his family because he does not know how much longer his father has left.
