Tyler Henry just opened up about his brain tumour after undergoing brain surgery.
The 29-year-old Hollywood Medium star took to his Instagram and revealed that he had been diagnosed with a colloid tumour, which is located near the centre of his brain, and needed surgery to remove it.
He also posted a picture of himself in which he can be seen lying in a hospital bed.
Along with the picture, Henry also added a caption that read, "Brain surgery was a success! Great prognosis, incredible staff, and I feel so thankful to be surrounded by my family.”
Sharing further details of his progress, The Great Fear star scribbled, “I’ll be on bedrest for a month and look forward to getting back to doing readings," adding that he was "on the mend."
Moving forward, he jokingly penned, “For those curious, I had a colloid tumor near the center of my brain and thankfully most of it has been removed! (The tumor, not my brain… that is.).”
"This isn’t my first rodeo with this and I have so much to be thankful for - I’ll see ya’ll very soon with lots of thought-provoking subjects and of course, readings. Thank you all so much for your support,” Henry concluded by showing gratitude to his fans.
It is pertinent to mention that as per the National Institute of Health (NIH), “Colloid brain cysts are benign [non-cancerous], slow-growing lesions typically found in the brain's third ventricle" that contain "gelatinous material composed of mucin, old blood, cholesterol, and ions—and often present diagnostic and management challenges."
