'Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage' cast asks 'Young Sheldon' star reprise role

Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage actors want Young Sheldon star Reba McEntire to join the cast of the spin-off.

Montana Jordan and Emily Osment, who play the titular characters, noted CBS Fest that they’d like the actress, who played hairstylist June, to reprise her role in the spin-off.

Montana noted that they’ve had almost all of the cast of Young Sheldon reprise their roles in Georgie and Mandy, except for Ian Armitage, who played Sheldon.

“But we’ll bring Reba McEntire back. Get her over here!” he cried while speaking to US Weekly, to which Emily replied, “Oh, I would love to see Reba.”

Gushing over the show’s cast and crew, Montana said, “When you get on a show like this and everybody’s so kind [is the best part]. At the end of the day, it’s like a family. When you go into work and it’s like a family, you have a ball and you have a blast. It doesn’t even feel like work at the end of the day. So that’s really great.”

Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage has been renewed for a second season.
