Brooklyn Beckham and his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, have been warned against making their family feud public lest they go through the same ordeal as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have generated many a headline with their explosive claims about mistreatment at the hands of the Royal Family. The feud is still ongoing and Prince William and King Charles after leaving The Firm.
Edward Coram-James, founder of GoUp and PR strategist, told Express that the Beckhams and the Peltz should keep their rumored feud out of the public eye.
He explained: “There’s a real chance the family could reconcile, given their history of unity and shared success.”
“That said. A superficial reunion, staged solely for PR, is easily seen through. Today’s public is more discerning than ever and they can spot insincerity from a mile away. In the long run, a failed attempt at presenting a false united front can do more harm than good,” the expert warned.
“To avoid making matters worse, the family could learn from what Harry and Meghan failed to do: Don’t turn private pain into a public power struggle. With Harry and Meghan, each new interview deepened the divide and diluted their message," he explained.
"The Beckhams, known for their brand savvy, would do well to resist the temptation to respond via press leaks or passive-aggressive social media posts. When conflict starts to feel performative, the public quickly tunes out, and legacy, once tarnished, is hard to restore,” he added.
Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz are rumored to be feuding with the Beckhams over their mistreatment of Brooklyn. The couple missed all of David Beckham’s multiple 50th birthday parties in different cities and countries, adding fuel to the rumors.
