Misa Hylton has addressed her recent appearance at ex-boyfriend Sean "Diddy" Combs' recent hearing amid his sex trafficking trial.

Hylton, who was in a relationship with the rapper in the early '90s, explained in a recent Instagram post that she was there to support her 31-year-old son Justin—who she shares with Combs.

"Yes, I'm good everyone. I'm on my healing journey," Hylton wrote in her Saturday post, referring to her recent leg injury for which she is currently using a walker.

"When I suffered my injury I had chosen to heal privately," the celebrity stylist continued, "but when my son said, 'Mommy, I need you,' I was right there for him walker and all."

"I'm a MOTHER FIRST, FOR REAL, and I am my son's strength and that's just what it is. Plain and simple," Hylton said in support of Justin, who previously offered his public support for his father.

"Whoever doesn't understand that just simply isn't in alignment with me or anything that I'm about in life. I'm cool with that," she added, in part.

"I have a purpose-filled life that I live daily. I make impact. I'm not concerned with insecure people attempting to project their insecurities on to me. EVER."

The Bad Boy Records founder, 55, and Hylton, 51, dated in the early '90s and welcomed their son Justin in December 1993. The pair broke up shortly after but have remained close ever since.

The fashion designer also broke her silence when the rapper's LA home was raided in March 2024.

Hylton criticised the Homeland Security agents’ use of “overzealous and overtly [militarised] force” against Justin and his brother, Christian “King” Combs, who were handcuffed during the raid.

“[The force] used against my sons Justin and Christian is deplorable. If these were the sons of a non-Black celebrity, they would not have been handled with the same aggression,” she wrote on Instagram, posting video footage of Justin and Christian being handcuffed by Homeland Security agents.

“The attempt to humiliate and [terrorise] these innocent young BLACK MEN is despicable!”

Hylton also extended her support to Cassie when the 2016 abuse video went viral.

"I am heartbroken that Cassie must relive the horror of her abuse, and my heart goes out to her. I know exactly how she feels, and through my empathy, it has triggered my own trauma," she wrote in an Instagram post alongside photos of Combs' seven kids.

"These young people were raised by women that want the best for them – we put God and education first and have always been united in our mutual effort to support their dreams. Two of the youngest do not have their mother here and it has been our duty to support them."

She added that the children's father "needs help" and that she was "praying that he truly does the personal work and receives it."
