Meghan Markle’s new Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, has been criticised for lacking depth and personality.

The lifestyle show, filmed at a rented home in Montecito, features Meghan making candles, cooking pasta, and preparing bath salts with friends.

However, it did not sit well with royal expert and broadcaster Esther Krakue, who said the Duchess of Sussex’s show was noy engaging.

She added that the Netflix series didn’t offer anything new or useful and that it felt like Meghan’s idea of herself didn’t match how she appeared on screen.

"There's nothing there. She's very, like - I'm not saying this to be horrible - she is not an entertainer or an entertaining person,” she told The Sun. “There's not much personality there."

"I never learn anything from her. I love lifestyle shows. I watch them every day. I don't learn anything. I didn't learn anything from hers. And she's just not entertaining,” the expert added.

"She's not a fun person to be around. You don't think this is the person I want to go to the pub with to have a pint with."

"She doesn't have the energy of a host. I don't think. She's very kind of drab and boring. It was clear from the first episode that this is, the way she sees herself and who she actually is are quite different."
