George Clooney has revealed his wife Amal’s reaction to his hair transformation for the play Good Night, and Good Luck.

Clooney’s brunette hair and shaved look didn’t impress fans or his wife Amal. He agreed that it looks “bad” now and needs to change.

He noted that his wife found the transformation “funny," and that she'll "be glad when it's gone."

Normally, the Ocean’s Eleven star rocks a silver hair look, but he has to maintain the dark haired look for his Broadway show.

During an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Clooney wore a hat to cover his hair and said, "It's bad. It's still dark on top, but it's gray at the bottom.”

He shared that he hasn’t dyed his hair for two months "So you get that really nice-looking grow-out of gray."

Clooney’s Tony-nominated play will do its last show at the Winter Garden Theatre in New York City on Sunday, June 8.

“The last show is Sunday. We do a matinee, and then by the time we go to the Tonys that night, it'll be gone," the actor, who’s nominated for a Best Actor in a Play Tony vowed.

When Meyers attempted to assure Clooney that his hair looks "great on stage.”

He sarcastically replied, "Sure."

“It really looks bad," George Clooney said. "It looks like [I'm] going through some horrible midlife crisis. I'm 64 — midlife is a little stretch."
