Prince William cannot bring himself to forgive his younger brother due to his treatment of Kate Middleton in his scathing memoir, Spare.
According to latest report, the Prince of Wales is deeply hurt that the Duke of Sussex dragged his wife into their feud.
As reported by OK! Magazine, William always tries to “protect” the women he loves and cannot let go of the fact that Harry hurt Kate, the Princess of Wales, with his words.
Speaking on the matter, royal expert Kinsey Schofield said that what hurt William the most was mention of Kate’s name in his bombshell memoir.
"Catherine has been nothing but supportive of her husband – and that’s exactly why Prince William is so deeply hurt," Schofield said.
She added, "His pain doesn’t come from personal insults or headlines. It comes from his instinct to protect the woman he loves.”
"But what cuts the deepest is Harry’s treatment of Catherine. She’s always loved him, always treated him like a little brother.
“That’s the betrayal William won’t forget… But Harry never seems to think about the consequences."
Agreeing with Schofield, another royal expert Helena Chard highlighted how close Kate and Harry were, noting that they were always “giggling” while on public events together.
"Sadly and upsettingly, Princess Catherine was dragged into the public negative narrative which was a real smack round the face for the kind sister-in-law who tried hard to be the peacemaker between the brothers," she said.
In his memoir, Harry claimed that a disagreement between Kate and Meghan left the Duchess in tears just days before their royal wedding.
He penned how Kate texted Meghan about an issue with Princess Charlotte’s flower girl dress, calling it too big and causing Charlotte to cry.
Meghan suggested bringing Charlotte to the palace tailor, but Harry said Kate wasn't satisfied and insisted all six dresses be fixed, Harry added.
This left Meghan sobbing on the floor. However, Kate later visited the couple and apologised to them with flowers and a note.
