Photos of Prince William talking to foreign princess elicit reaction from UK royals

The Swedish Royal Court on Monday shared pictures of Victoria, Crown Princess of Sweden, with Britain's Prince William from the duo's recent appearance at an event in Monaco.

Sharing two pictures of the royals on Instagram, the Kungahuset's Instagram account said, "Before the start of the UN conference, the Crown Princess on Sunday, along with others, the Crown Prince of Norway and the Prince of Wales, attended the "Blue Economy and Finance Forum" in Monaco. The international meeting was organized by the Prince of Monaco."

Notably, the Instagram post only contained the princess' pictures with the son of UK's King Charles.

The caption accompanying the pictures further read, "During the meeting, international leaders discussed, among other things, global solutions to issues related to financing the "blue economy", protection of marine areas and more.

It said, "The Sunday ended with the French presidential couple hosting dinner in Nice ahead of Monday's UN conference."

Among others, the Swedish Court's Instagram post was also liked by the official account of Prince William and his wife, Prince Catherine aka Kate Middleton.

Earlier, Prince William delivered a powerful speech at the event where the Crown Prince Haakon of Norway was also present among other world leaders.

As part of his efforts in addressing the climate change and environmental issues, The Prince of Wales launched "Earthshot Prize".
