Huma Abedin marries Alex Soros in Hamptons wedding

Huma Abedin and Alex Soros are officially a married couple.

The political content creator and author, 48, exchanged vows with the 39-year-old billionaire son of George Soros and the former aide to Hilary Clinton in a small and intimate wedding ceremony on June 14, 2025.

The wedding ceremony included Nikah in honour of Abedin’s Muslim faith and Ketubah, honouring Alex's Jewish heritage, Vogue reported.

Abedin wore two custom wedding dresses for the occasion: a Givenchy ensemble featuring off-the-shoulder design made of ivory silk satin-backed crepe and a vintage-inspired gown with lace sleeves by Erdem.

The wedding ceremony was attended by close family and friends, which was then followed up with a larger celebration featuring a cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing.

Hillary, who was spotted at the couple's rehearsal dinner together with husband Bill Clinton, shared her anticipation ahead of the nuptials with Vogue.

"I’m looking forward to being a witness to their marriage; to the celebration that we all are going to be part of; to seeing so many longtime friends gathered in one place to really enjoy being part of Huma and Alex’s start of their married life," the politician told the magazine.

She added, "And I think we all could use some fun, so I’m looking forward to all of it.”

Abedin and Alex announced their engagement on July 10, 2024, after he got on one knee "at home in New York City in late May," which they followed up with a "at home in New York City in late May," per Vogue.

The pair met in 2023 at a birthday party for a mutual friend, “where they quickly discovered their mutual interests in politics and public service," according to the outlet.
