Meghan Markle continues to receive heat for sharing a sweet tribute for Prince Harry to mark Father’s Day on social media.
The video, the Duchess of Sussex dropped on the occasion, featured snippets of the Duke with their two kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, spending quality time together.
However, Meghan is being called out over it as experts highlight how “hypocritical” it is on the Sussexes’ part given their past requests for privacy.
In an interview on YouTube, Royal commentator Ingrid Seward said that while the video looked “charming,” it clashed with their stance on avoiding media attention.
She also suggested that their online posts are more about making money than family moments, and added that Harry might not be fully comfortable with the publicity.
"They begged for privacy and now suddenly Meghan is flooding the marketplace with photographs of their children,” as reported by The Express.
"Everything they do online is aimed at them being able to make more money—otherwise why on earth would they do it?"
This comes after brand and culture expert Nick Ede claimed that Meghan is just trying to keep herself in the headlines by posting glimpses of her kids’ faces on her new Instagram.
“I think this is a strategy for Meghan to be in control of the narrative and to allow her fans a glimpse into her life and her children,” he said.
“There has been lots of internet speculation about the children and these breadcrumbs and teasers allow her to be in control, to stop speculation and to keep giving fans what they want, keeping her in the headlines and establishing her as a loving parent.”
