Kate Middleton has reportedly taken on the responsibility of building a bridge between Prince Archie, Princess Lilibet and their ailing grandfather King Charles, insiders claim.

The well-placed source spoke to Closer magazine when making all this public.

According to their findings, “It breaks Charles’ heart that he hasn’t been able to build a relationship with Archie and Lilibet – he’s already missed so many milestones that he can never get back.”

For those unversed, the main issue revolves around the lack of taxpayer-funded security, which is ‘stopping’ Prince Harry from bringing his kids to the other side of the pond.

As the prince himself told BBC after his loss in court, “I can’t see a world in which I would bring my wife and children back to the UK at this point.”

For the sake of King Charles and his desire for a relationship, the insider noted, “the hope is that Harry will stop being so hardheaded and bring the kids over to spend time with their grandfather but, so far, he hasn’t made any moves towards that – so Kate is scrambling to find some sort of solution.”

Reason being “this isn’t a matter that can continually be kicked down the road – with Charles’ health and the kids growing up so fast, time is precious.”

In addition, “for now, though, the only solution that seems viable is for Charles to start bonding with them over video calls. Kate is trying to make that happen and has spoken to both Charles and Harry about the possibility of setting up regular chats.”

Nevertheless, “it’s not ideal, of course,” still “the feeling is that it would be better than nothing, and it could be a small step toward healing. She thinks Harry will regret cutting off his father if anything happens to him.”
