Louis Tomlinson's sister rushed for emergency surgery after Abu Dhabi flight

Lottie Tomlinson has shared an update on a recent midair medical emergency on Abu Dhabi skies.

The 26-year-old influencer, sister of One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson, was travelling with her fiancé Lewis Burton and their two young children when she faced the tragedy.

The influencer was diagnosed with appendicitis after she vomited on the plane and experienced stomach pains on the flight.

“I felt quite ill on the way here, on the plane, really bad stomach pains,” she explained, in a video posted to her Instagram story.

“So they sent me to hospital where they discovered that I had appendicitis so I needed surgery straight away, so last night I had surgery to remove my appendix and it all went well, so I'm just now recovering.

“But I'm so grateful to all the nurses and doctors that have looked after me and I'm hoping that I can make a quick recovery.”

She also uploaded a photo of Lewis, with their two-year-old daughter Lucky in hospital, captioning the snap, “Hopefully I can make a speedy recovery and enjoy our last few days here.”
