Meghan Markle has been accused of “piggybacking” on other successful entrepreneurs’ achievements for her brand As Ever.

The Duchess of Sussex recently added Rosé wine to her range of As Ever products with reports claiming she is copying Hollywood stars by launching her own wine brand.

Rosé wines were reportedly first launched by former lovers Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in Hollywood, followed by stars like Australian singer Kylie Minogue and rock musician Jon Bon Jovi.

Speaking on the matter, royal expert Hugo Vickers claimed that Meghan’s perceived lack of originality could cause her to lose momentum over time and possibly get into more legal trouble.

"If we're going to discuss every time she launches a new product we might be very busy,” the expert said, Radar Online.

He added, "She obviously has to keep on producing more and more things in order to get attention, because if she just released more jam, I guess we wouldn't bother to talk about it."

"I don't know what hers (Meghan's) is, how hers is going to be so different from anybody else's. It's probably going to be more expensive,” he added.

The expert went on to discuss Meghan’s recent interview with Emma Grede. "She warned us... she was going to be doing all sorts of different things, even coming out of the kitchen and going into the drawing room, or into the world of fashion, or goodness knows what,” he said.

The expert continued, "So I guess this is the latest thing... I guess that she will keep doing more and more things like this. This is the world into which she's gone."

Vickers was then asked if Meghan is copying what other successful people have done and finding success in it, to which he responded, "That's probably right."

He noted that it seems like "quite a good strategy,” before sharing, "You've got to kind of keep going out into the market, and you've got to keep pushing ideas forward, and if one of them takes off, so be it."

Before concluding, the expert said that it seems like Meghan’s "endlessly" going in "more and more directions, with more and more people involved, one thing after another.”

"I just wonder how much substance there is there."
