David Corenswet, who is playing Superman in the upcoming movie, just got candid about meeting Christopher Reeve’s son.
While having a conversation with Entertainment Weekly, the 31-year-old American actor opened up about his encounter with Will Reeve, who has played Superman in 2024, and what it was like having him on the forthcoming Superman set.
David said, "Will is great. He is the Superman type for obvious reasons. He's tall, he's handsome, and he's got a great smile. Having him show up and give his support in that moment was very heartwarming.”
“He also got to meet my kid when she was only a few months old. She happened to be on set that day, too. I don't think she'll remember it, but that was a nice little thing, as well, a little parallel,” the Twisters star noted.
Notably, in a talk with TMZ in July 2024, Will confirmed his cameo appearance as a professional journalist like Clark Kent in the 2025 Superman movie after his pictures from the set were leaked through Cleveland.com.
"I know the folks making the film, and they've been so kind to me and my family, and I had a free day so we made it [happen]," he said at the time.
It is pertinent to mention that the new Superman movie, directed by James Gunn, will be released on July 11, 2025.
