Meghan Markle recently launched her first As Ever rosé wine which highlighted her ambition to make her brand a part of everyday life, claimed an expert.
Speaking with Daily Mail, celebrity publicist Sarah Schmidt said that the by adding the wine to her lifestyle products, the Duchess of Sussex is expanding As Ever beyond just food products.
She noted that Meghan wants to transform her brand into a full lifestyle brand that fits into morning routines, dinner parties, and relaxed evenings.
“With this move, Meghan is signaling that As Ever isn't just a pantry brand, it's a lifestyle ecosystem,” she said.
The expert added, "She wants a seat at every table: your morning routine, your dinner party, your slow Sunday night.
“Wine brings people together, and that's the heartbeat of this brand.”
“With the rosé, Meghan is claiming space in the culture of hosting, connection, and shared experience.”
Following the announcement that Meghan would launch her wine on July 1, a controversy erupted as the date coincided with late Princess Diana’s birthday.
