President of France Emmanuel Macron, accompanied by Brigitte Macron, has accepted an invitation from King Charles to pay a State visit to the United Kingdom from Tuesday 8th July to Thursday 10th July 2025.

The President and Mrs. Macron will stay at Windsor Castle.

Now, some details of the visit have been revealed by the Royal Central.

It tweeted, “The King and Queen will officially welcome President Emmanuel Macron of France and Brigitte Macron for a State Visit on July 8.

“President and Madame Macron will arrive at RAF Northolt where they will be met by the Prince and Princess of Wales.”

It further says, “The Prince and Princess of Wales greet President Emmanuel Macron and Brigitte Macron at RAF Northolt and travel with them to Windsor

“King Charles and Queen Camilla offer official welcome in Windsor.”

The King and Queen, President and Mrs Macron and the Prince and Princess of Wales will take part in a carriage procession to Windsor Castle.

“King Charles and President Macron inspect a Guard of Honour at Windsor Castle,” it said and added "The King and Queen host a lunch for President and Mrs Macron, attended by members of the Royal Family.”

The details have been shared after Kate Middleton, earlier this week, visited the RHS Wellbeing Garden at Colchester Hospital.

“Wonderful to see Catherine’s Rose planted here. 50 have been donated to support staff and patients, and bring moments of peace,” Kate Middleton said after the visit.

She added, “Grateful to everyone who helped create this special space for wellbeing, and to all those working and volunteering here to support patients. Thank you to those too who generously shared their stories of recovery.”
