Kate Middleton’s longtime reliable right-hand woman is leaving her to start a new chapter of life.
After 15 years of dedicated service, Natasha Archer, wo was most recently a senior private executive assistant to both Prince William and Kate, is leaving Kensington Palace to start her own private consultancy, according to People.
The Prince and Princess of Wales’ household fully supports Natasha’s decision and wishes her the best for her future.
Archer joined the palace staff in 2010 as a personal assistant to both Princess Kate and Prince William. With time, she became an integral part of Kate’s inner circle and lent her advice in all areas, especially styling.
Archer’s taste in British fashion is credited for curating Kate’s wardrobe and turning her into a fashion inspiration by bringing in pieces from high-end designers such as Alexander McQueen and Jenny Packham.
She helped pick the outfits for Kate’s royal engagements and focused on paying a nod to the culture of the country’s the Princess toured. In 2019, both Kate and William dressed in Pakistani attire in a nod to the country’s culture.
William wore a dark green sherwani to a reception, whereas Kate sported many shalwar kameez outfits from local designers.
In the U.K., a the Kate Middleton Effect brings in an estimated $1.27 billion a year when costumers buy pieces worn by the mom-of-three.
In 2019, Archer was honored with the Royal Victorian Order for her years of dedicated service to the royal household.
