Daniel Radcliffe revealed his surprising choice of play he thinks will be perfect for Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy.
Radcliffe stepped out on the red carpet at Hudson Theatre for special New York City screening of Merrily We Roll Along.
The film is a live recording of the 2023 Broadway revival of the Stephen Sondheim musical in which that actor was previously a part of.
Tom Felton, who played Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter franchise and is reprising the role in Broadway play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, was also in attendance.
Taking the opportunity, a reporter from People Magazine asked Radcliffe which Broadway play Harry and Draco do together.
"I mean, actually we should do Waiting for Godot. This is perfect. We're in this theater," Radcliffe said. "Or just surely the answer is probably Cursed Child, but I don't know."
Though their characters are sworn enemies, the actors have maintained a close, supportive real-life friendship.
At the event, the two shared an embrace and exchanged a few words. They then posed for a photo, the first public picture they've taken together in more than a decade.
Felton also praised Radcliffe, Tony Award winner for Best Featured Actor in a Musical for his role in Merrily We Roll Along, for inspiring him to get into the theatre.
He made his Broadway debut on November 11 in The Cursed Child, as Draco.
The story follows the next generation of Hogwarts students and families, centring on Harry and Draco’s sons as they grapple with the legacy of the wizarding war.
