Health comes first!
Danniella Westbrook has been taken to hospital due to breathing issues.
The 52-years-old actress, best known for her role as Sam Mitchell on EastEnders, had been preparing for her big screen comeback in the film Tales From The Trap, but has now been recast amid health issues-which come after years of complications from her collapsed septum caused by cocaine abuse and alcohol addiction.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, insiders revealed the star sought medical help on Friday due to her respiratory struggles.
A source close to Daniella said: 'Danniella was rushed into hospital on Friday with breath difficulties which meant she had to pull out of filming Tales From The Trap.
'She was due to make her movie comeback as a gangster granny selling 4K47s to the gangsters. It's really disappointing as I am sure everyone was looking forward to seeing her play that part.'
The insider also shared producers' relief at securing a replacement, saying: 'Luckily the producers were able to replace her with Tim Tiddy who has just featured in Slow Horses with Gary Oldman and was on The Bill for years.'
For those unversed, Danniella last appeared on TV on Celebrity Big Brother in 2016, where she reached the final, finishing in first place. She also participated in I'M A Celebrity--Get Out of Here in 2003 and Dancing On Ice in 2010.
