Euphoria star Colman Domingo excited fans by offering a tantalising teaser of what’s to come.

The actor, who plays Zendaya’s lead role Rue’s sponsor Ali Muhammed on the hit HBO series, spilled the beans about his character’s fate.

While looking dashing in a double-breasted Valentino suit during the 2026 Golden Globe Award ceremony over the weekend, the American actor and playwright also hinted that the upcoming season will be more cinematic than ever.

“We’re gonna have a devastatingly gorgeous, epic season that I think is breaking the mold of television,” he said on the Golden Globes carpet. “I think it’s gonna become more cinema than television.”

Referring to his character, who meets Zendaya’s Rue at an NA meeting, The Running Man actor told Deadline that the upcoming season would mine the depths of Ali Muhammed’s backstory.

“I think you get to look at the building blocks of Ali. I think you may get a little bit of his origin story, which I think is great, and so you can understand why Ali is who he is,” he explained.
