Connor Storrie, who has reached a new height of fame after his show, Heated Rivalry, went viral, talked about his breakout role in a new interview.
The 25-year-old actor made his first morning show appearance at the Today show on Wednesday, January 14, and answered many of fan’s questions.
Speaking of the show’s success, Storrie told the host Craig Melvin that he believes fans loved his and co-star Hudson Williams’ characters because of their off-screen friendship, which shines through the camera in the show.
When asked about the plans for the Canadian show’s sequel, Storrie said, “I think Jacob’s still writing it,” referring to the show's creator, Jacob Tierney, adding, “I think we’re going to be filming. I don’t know when, exactly.”
The host then pried about whether or not “soon” meant this summer, and the Riley star agreed, saying, “Yeah, I think about then.”
The hockey television series is based on the book Game Changer, written by Rachel Reid.
The upcoming sequel, which is in the works, is inspired by the book, The Long Game, by the same author.
