The Royal House shared a special update for their beloved Queen, who stepped out to honour a centuries-old craft.

Danish Queen Mary, dressed in a violet Temperley London velvet suit exuded grace and poise, was attending the event alone as Queen Margrethe had stayed home due to her health.

A statement was released sharing details of Mary’s outing on Wednesday. It was a history making moment as Mary watched that play which had been performed 500 times since it was first performed in 20th Century.

“The red theatre lamp was on when Her Majesty the Queen watched the re-premier of ‘Inside the Walls’ on Wednesday evening at the Royal Theatre's Old Stage,” the statement read.

“Henri Nathansen’s acting has a very special connection to the theatre. The play has been performed more than 500 times since its premiere on Gamle Scene in 1912,” it continued.

“The Queen was welcomed by Fridamarie B. Cauchi, who plays Little Sara in the current setting. The role is shared with another actor who performed at the premiere.”
