Prince Harry's meaningful efforts have finally been recognised, and as a result, the Duke earned special honour.
His Invcitus Games team shared on social media that their founder and patron has made it to the #TIME100Sports list.
The statement reads, "Thank you to TIME for shining a light on the work of the Invictus Games Foundation and the extraordinary community behind it.
"Sport has the power to change lives and, in some cases, to save them. Through the work of the Invictus Games Foundation, wounded, injured and sick service personnel and veterans rediscover purpose, rebuild confidence and regain a sense of identity."
Harry's office said that they began Invictus with a belief in the power of sport, which has now become a global movement.
Invictus Games "not only supports recovery, but creates community, belonging and hope."
Sports can play an important role in restoring meaning to someone's failing life.
"We are proud of this recognition, but most importantly, we are proud of the Invictus Community, whose resilience and determination inspire everything we do. Link in bio for the full story," the message concluded.
The update about Harry's new honour came ahead of his expected arrival in the UK for the Invictus Games event this summer.
