Reality TV star Kim Kardashian has lupus. Or at least that's what her medical tests suggest.

Though Kim Kardashian is in and out of news so much that we almost start to ignore her, it is something serious this time.

"It just gets really scary when you start thinking about how much this is gonna really change my life," the socialite said in her show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

Kim went to her doctor where her crew accompanied her and filmed the entire conversation.

"Your antibodies are positive for Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis," Kim's specialist Dr Daniel Wallace explained, moments after which the famed Kardashian broke down in tears.

"So I don’t know what that means," she responded, to which, Dr Wallace said: "You’d have, in addition to swollen joints, you’d have fevers, rashes, mouth sores, be really tired.

"But, sometimes you can get false positives in these screenings," he said, and they scheduled a follow-up appointment.

"So you don’t know? Like that’s … that’s the scariest part … we just don’t know?"
