Family Guy’s executive producer Seth MacFarlane teased about the seres’ future as it reached its 25-year milestone.

Appearing at the Paley Fest in LA, along with the cast of the beloved series, Seth weighed in on where the series is going and revealed that he has eyes on a potential feature film.

“I have known what that [Family Guy] movie will be for 15 years and I just haven't had the time to get to it”, Seth commented according to ComicBook.com

However, while the TED director admitted that getting a movie made is a bit too much for him right now, he did assure fans of continuing the franchise.

In a candid conversation with L.A. Times, the 50-year-old animator shared his thoughts on the series and confirmed that the series won’t be ending, as long as the audience doesn’t “get sick of it”.

“I don't see a good reason to stop. People still love it. It makes people happy", he continued, “Unless the numbers show that people just are, 'Eh, we don't care about Family Guy anymore.' But that hasn't happened yet”.

The sitcom which started in 1999 on Fox, and was briefly canceled, has remained a mainstay on the network and recently completed its 22nd season and is already renewed for its 23rd.
