Cady McClain, Jon Lindstrom part ways after 10 years of marriage

Cady McClain and Jon Lindstrom from the romance drama As the World Turns have announced their split after 10 years of marriage.

In a joint Instagram post, the couple shared an update on their relationship status with their fans and revealed that they have parted ways.

They wrote, “Cady and Jon here. We are taking this opportunity to make a short statement about our relationship status.” 

“It may be obvious to some based on our posts that we’ve taken some time apart”, they added referring to their previous posts which suggested that McClain has been in New York for quite some time while Landstrom is in Los Angeles for his TV drama General Hospital. 

The post continued, “After serious consideration, we have decided that our goals have been taking us in different directions and to end our marriage. We remain friends and wish each other every happiness.” 

The duo concluded the post by asking for privacy, although acknowledging that the nature of their work makes it challenging to keep their life private.

“As people who work in the public eye, it can be difficult to have a private life. Regardless, we ask for your kind consideration in this matter”. 

The couple met on the set of the CBS soap opera and later got married in 2014 on Valentine's Day. They have found success together with both receiving multiple Daytime Emmy nominations for different projects.
