Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni lawsuit gets fierce amid legal battle

Blake Lively’s legal battle with It Ends With US costar-director Justin Baldoni might escalate further as more legal filings will be made related to the case.

As reported by Deadline, weeks after Lively and Jonesworks founder Stephanie Jones sued Baldoni, Crisis PR boss Melissa Nathan, Baldoni’s Wayfarer Studios and flack Jennifer Abel for defamation and breach of contract, the founder is going after half a dozen tech companies for detailed information on who said what to whom.

In other words, the third-party will deeply scrutinise the corporate entities, searching who was behind anonymous websites and posts.

As reported by Daily Mail, on December 20, Lively accused Baldoni of sexually harassing her, waging a smear campaign against her and creating a toxic work environment during filming of It Ends With US.

Then on December 31, the wife of Ryan Reynolds then filed another lawsuit against her costar, who also directed the movie, for emotional distress, and humiliation.

Since her filing, Baldoni has been dumped by their mutual agency WME, seen IEWU distributor Sony back Lively in broad strokes, had podcast co-hosts quit on him and feminist ally awards taken back.

Baldoni, on other side, is preparing a counter lawsuit against the 37-year-old.

He also already filed a $250 Million lawsuit against New York Times over its reporting.
