Jennifer Lopez's new post reveals risks of her job

The showbiz industry is not all glamour, and Jennifer Lopez's latest social media post proves this.

The Instagram pop icon shared a snap showing facial stitches on her nose. 

She revealed that her injury occurred during the rehearsals for the American Music Awards, which she is set to host after a decade.

In total, the On the Floor hitmaker posted three photos. First is the selfie where she puts an ice pack on her nose with the caption, "So this happened…"

In the second, The Mother actress shared the cut she received on her nose. She captioned the story, "(During @amas rehearsals)."

Ultimately, the last snap is the reassuring message Jennifer gave to her fans, saying Dr. Diamond, a known plastic surgeon, had made her injury go away. "Thank you for stitching me up, Dr. Diamond. A week later and a whole lotta ice, I'm good as new," she wrote.

The 51st annual American Music Awards will happen on May 26 in Las Vegas.
