Jessie Cave opens up about 'shame' amid financial struggles: Report

Jessie Cave, best known for her role as Lavender Brown in the Harry Potter film series, has revealed shame and fear following her decision to join OnlyFans earlier this year.

Cave launched her account on the adult subscription platform in March, citing financial difficulties and mounting debt as her motivation, as per the Daily Mail

Despite setting clear boundaries, stating that her content would exclude nudity or sexual material, Cave admitted that the experience has left her feeling "gross" and "scared" due to unsolicited and explicit messages from subscribers.

Moreover, her OnlyFans content focuses on her signature long hair, with some videos featuring her being lightly spanked with her plaited hair, sometimes with the assistance of her partner, comedian Alfie Brown, with whom she shares four children.

As per the publication, she noted that her partner has been roped into the work to help meet the demand.

Cave said in a recent statement, "It's gotten a little nasty. I feel a little gross, a little scared. I am receiving too many lurid messages and don't like being sent unsolicited pictures."

Despite her repeated insistence that she is not producing sexual content, Cave said she continues to receive inappropriate requests from users.

Additionally, she said, “No matter how many times I say I am not doing sexual content, I get a message within two seconds asking to see [bodily fluids] in my hair or if I would just please consider full frontal.”

In a Substack post, Cave discussed, "It's proof of my failure to make (or rather, keep hold of) money as an actress and writer. I've got nothing to show for 18 years of work in the arts industry. I've rented for 18 years and drained all my money on that and self-funding my YouTube videos or Edinburgh shows."

Furthermore, her OnlyFans profile describes her as a "Long Hair Specialist," offering "niche hair content" with an invitation for custom requests from followers.
