Chris Brown was just arrested in Manchester.

The American rapper, who is 36-year-old was detained by the Metropolitan Police, at a hotel in Manchester, during the early hours of Thursday morning.

This came due to allegations that Brown had attacked a music producer in a London nightclub two years ago.

Even though the artist was scheduled to kick off his world tour in three weeks, but is now arrested after he arrived at The Lowry Hotel in Salford, on a private jet, as per The Independent.

The Met told the outlet, “A 36-year-old man was arrested at a hotel in Manchester shortly after 2am on Thursday, May 15 on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.”

“He has been taken into custody where he remains. The arrest relates to an incident at a venue in Hanover Square on February 19, 2023. The investigation is being led by detectives from the Central West Area Basic Command Unit,” they added.

This comes after Brown was accused by producer Abraham Diaw of assaulting him at Tape nightclub in Mayfair, telling The Sun on Sunday, “He hit me over the head two or three times. My knee collapsed as well.”

Now, Diaw has filed a civil lawsuit against Chris Brown, demanding 16 million dollars in damages for injuries and losses suffered after the altercation.
