Sean 'Diddy’ Combs' ex-assistant, who has accused the rapper of sexual assault, addressed her online bias in a recent hearing.
Combs' former employee, who is testifying under the pseudonym Mia, revealed in a recent hearing that she posted messages of admiration towards the music mogul because she needed to keep him happy.
"That's not what social media was for," she told the court when asked why she didn't document the downsides of knowing the Bad Boy Records founder.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Madison Smyser then asked Mia why she felt the need to keep Combs happy.
"Because when he was happy, I was safe," Mia answered.
During cross-examination, defense attorneys shaded her by accusing her of joining a "MeToo money grab."
Combs is being tried in court over federal charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution, to which he has pleaded not guilty.
