Brooklyn Beckham snubs dad David Beckham amid reported feud

Brooklyn Beckham snubbed his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, amid ongoing family tensions.

In a new interview, Brooklyn and his wife Nicola sat down with Glamour Germany to discuss style inspiration and more. 

While noting they like to match outfits, the couple didn’t mention David and Victoria Beckham, who were known for their matching outfits back in the 90s and early 2000s.

Nicola said, “I feel like we are major outfit repeaters,” as Brooklyn confessed: “We like to match though. I love to match with her.”

Gushing over his wife, Brooklyn said, “When I first met her. I thought she had really cool style... She always wears platforms, even walking to bed. And I love that.”

The aspiring chef snubbed his father again when he noted what the 23 in the name of his hot sauce, Cloud 23, stands for.

“The 23 stands for our engagement date and my age back then,” he explained. However, his rep said last week that the 23 was a “warm nod” to David, who wore number 23 while playing for Real Madrid and LA Galaxy.

Elsewhere in the interview, the duo hinted at interference in their relationship and shared advice they received from Nicola’s family.

When asked how they “protect” their relationship, Brooklyn said, “Ignore the noise. Keep your head down, work hard, be kind. People are always going to talk. What matters is that we’re happy together.”

Reports of a family feud between the Beckham clan and Brooklyn and Nicola began circulating when the couple failed to attend David’s 50th birthday parties.

Brooklyn Beckham recently appeared to make it clear where his loyalties lie. He took to Instagram and, with a post dedicated to Nicola, shared a picture with her. In the caption, he wrote: “My whole world x I will love you forever x I always choose you baby x you're the most amazing person I know xx me and you forever baby.”
