Buckingham Palace has shared a meaningful update about Prince Andrew after reports of a 'special agreement' with his elder brother King Charles.

The King has reportedly made a special agreement with his brother, according to royal sources, the Marie Claire reported.

The palace made startling revelations about Prince Andrew after reports he defiantly attended another Order of the Garter ceremony at Windsor Castle despite being barred from the public procession for the fourth year in a row.

As per the royal family, the Order of the Garter is the oldest and most senior Order of Chivalry in Britain. Each year, it is celebrated with a procession and service in the grounds of Windsor Castle.

The palace shared photos of the royals who joined King Charles and Queen Camilla at St George’s Chapel in Windsor for the annual Garter Day service and procession.

However, in the Court circular shared on the royal family’s official website it has been disclosed that Prince Andrew attended the Luncheon Party for the Companions of the Most Noble Order of the Garter hosted by the King and Queen.

The palace says, “16 June 2025, Windsor Castle: The King and Queen gave a Luncheon Party for the Companions of the Most Noble Order of the Garter at which The Prince of Wales, The Duke of York (Prince Andrew), The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and The Duke of Kent were present.”

Meanwhile, discussing Prince Andrew's involvement in Garter Day, insider has told Daily Express, per Marie Claire "He won't participate in the procession but he has been invited to the lunch and investiture."

According to the publication, the Duke of York’s "inclusion in the private aspects is seen as a compromise by both sides."
