After completing her military training, Princess Ingrid Alexandra of Norway is now following in the footsteps of UK's Prince William and other European royals to address climate change and environmental issues.
According to a statement issued on Tuesday, the 21-year-old princess met with the Children's Climate Panel at the Royal Palace, demonstrating her commitment to this critical cause.
During the meeting, Princess Ingrid Alexandra expressed her admiration for the young panel members' knowledge and efforts to raise awareness about climate change.
"I had a very pleasant meeting with the Children's Climate Panel today," she said. "They impressed me with their knowledge and effort. I hope everyone will listen to what they have to say."
Princess Ingrid Alexandra is the eldest child of Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit.
The second in line to the Norwegian throne began her military training in January 2024 and extended her service from 12 months to 15 months, concluding it earlier this year.
