Prince William and actor Cate Blanchett travelled together to the city of Norwich near Norfolk for a visit to Colorifix, a company that has been hailed for its innovation by the Prince of Wales' environmental mission, the Earthshot Prize.
The company has received accolades for how it uses technology to create dyes naturally, and for the way in which it cuts down the vast quantities of water and harmful chemicals typically associated with dyeing.
The Prince and Princess of Wales' Instagram account shared multiple pictures of the royal and the Oscar-winning actress.
The caption said, "A visit to the brilliant Colori Fix today with Earthshot Prize Council Member Cate Blanchett. An Earthshot Prize 2023 Finalist, Colorifix use cutting-edge DNA science to revolutionise fabric dyeing.
It said, "Toxic chemicals are eliminated and water waste is reduced by using DNA to copy natural colours from plants, animals, or microbes - creating dyes without using harmful chemicals. This innovation offers real hope for a cleaner, sustainable future in fashion."
The duo is seen wearing lab coats during their visit to the facility except for one in which William is seen addressing the staff as Cate Blanchett listens to him.
The royal looked completely confident and on top of his game in the company of an actor who is known for her work in the films like The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Ocean's 8.
