Buckingham Palace has shared an exciting news about Prince William, the Prince of Wales.
Prince William, who celebrated his 43rd birthday recently, is determined to end homelessness for good through his Homewards programme, and this week, the campaign marks its two-year anniversary.
Ahead of the major milestone, the palace announced, “01 July 2025: The Prince of Wales, Joint Patron, The Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, will undertake engagements connected to the Homewards programme, Sheffield.”
The Majesty Magazine also tweeted, “While in Sheffield tomorrow Prince William will visit @MeadowheadSch, which, with the support of @HomewardsUK, has implemented Upstream, an early intervention survey designed to identify young people at greater risk of homelessness and provide them with the support they need.”
Earlier, in a letter to mark the anniversary, the future king urged those working on the campaign to "Keep going!" as he described how the initiative had started to "shift the dial" on the "mammoth challenge".
The Prince of Wales added that his programme was now in "delivery mode" and he outlined his optimism it would lead to long-term change.
“There are now people who are no longer experiencing homelessness thanks to your tremendous efforts," William’s letter reads.
The palace announcement does not mention whether Kate Middleton will join William or not.
