Jennifer Lopez just gave her fans insights into the new music she has been working on.
As per PEOPLE magazine, on Wednesday, the Grammy-nominated singer invited 30 Los Angeles based fans for an exclusive party to listen to her work.
The 55-year-old Get On The Floor hitmaker performed six new songs, which included five upbeat tracks: Up All Night, Regular, Free, Save Me Tonight and Birthday.
She also premiered an emotional ballad, Wreckage of You, “a pop ballad that she told us she co-wrote and recorded two weeks ago,” attendee Edgardo Luis Rivera told Us Weekly.
Rivera also mentioned that Jennifer, who divorced her now-ex-husband, Ben Affleck, last year, said she “kept thinking of the word ‘wreck’ because it means destruction, but she wasn’t destroyed. In fact, the lyrics of the song are, ‘I’m stronger after the wreckage of you.'”
Additionally, PEOPLE magazine also confirmed that the star gifted the crowd tickets to her New Year’s Eve show in Las Vegas.
Rivera uploaded an Instagram update, revealing the gift from Jennifer, writing, "I’m still in shock, @jlo just gave us all a pair of tickets to her #UpAllNight Las Vegas residency on New Years Eve! O-M-G. Thank You!!!!!”
The Las Vegas Residency in question was announced by the This Is Me… Now talent on May 26 that she would be returning with a new residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
